It's quite difficult to put into words how totally fabulous Martin and Debbie are as wedding photographers.

'What can I say about Martin and Debbie, they are a fantastic couple who made our day and gave us the forever memories we will always cherish. Their presence and direction really puts you at ease on your special day and minimises your stress levels.

Dear Debbie & Martin

Thank you so much for the beautiful images you created of our wedding. Our intention always was that our wedding would be a joyous, quirky and loving celebration, and the pair of you captured the essence of the celebrations so skilfully.

The bridal images are simply stunning - Ian has the penthouse terrace one on his phone and can’t take his eyes off it! He says it captures an expression I have that he could never pinpoint, and that, for him, is priceless. From my perspective, I never dreamt that I would be so proud of the images. As someone who is INCREDIBLY camera shy (to the point of being phobic), you both truly put me at my ease and let me be myself, and this allowed me to truly enjoy the day. The truth is, the only part of the day that I was actually dreading was the photographs, and they turned out to be one of the most fun parts! (amongst others of cour)

The images of us as a couple really capture us, the day and the beauty of Portmeirion itself. Again, a wedding date of 19th November kept our expectations low as to how much of Portmeirion would be in our pictures, and (of course this is down to the weather too) but your commitment to getting as many diverse shots as possible really brought our special venue to life. It remains a permanent record of the quirkiness we both enjoy so much, and of course of Lara, The Defender which is also a big part of our story.

And finally, what has really taken our breath away is the way you have captured our guests - expressions that each of them have that are so familiar, that truly is an art, and captures some of our most precious moments. Ones that we otherwise wouldn’t have seen. You have given us the ’story’ of our day, that captures our values, life philosophy and love that is truly priceless.

I am at a loss for words to describe how incredible Debbie and Martin are… We met Martin and Debbie about 4 years ago at a wedding venue and their work remained at the forefront of our minds. We knew that they were the perfect couple to capture the best day of our lives as their passion for what they do just beamed from their entire being and captivated us. We were astonished that they took the time to call us the day before our wedding to speak about what we wanted and just to have a general chat about us – that was truly touching for us as there were specific photographs with distant family members that we wanted pictures with that any other photographer may not have known otherwise. On the day of the wedding, Martin and Debbie made everyone feel so at ease as they were so involved from the get-go that they instantly morphed into family members and helped in any way that they could – even with the trickiest of bracelets. What truly stood out for us was their communication amongst each other to ensure that they got the right lighting and the perfect location and it was of no bother to them that the ground was wet and soggy from the morning rain as they just wanted the best for us… and they more than delivered! Dion and I are blown away by the quality of the pictures and their ability to capture every moment and every emotion, and many perspectives from the wedding that we may have missed which expanded the memory of our magical day and made it even more wonderful - which we didn’t think were even possible. "Not really sure where to start! Martin and Debbie are such gorgeous people, so warm and friendly and they just happen to take the most amazing photos too!!! As soon as we saw their photos we knew we had to have them as our wedding photographers! Unfortunately due to covid our first wedding date in 2020 was cancelled so we rebooked for 2021 based on their availability and again for our final date in 2022. They were so accommodating and made what was a stressful situation disappear.
Due to restrictions lifting slightly we were able to have a non wedding photo shoot with them on what would have been our initial wedding day! All we can say is WOW.. The photos were amazing and it was so lovely to spend time with them both before our big day. We knew we'd made the right decision. Fast forward to our wedding day August 2022. When planning and looking for a photographer for our wedding. We seen Martin and Debbie's work and we were Amazed by how they captured the raw emotion in the images. "We first saw Martin's work after he photographed a friends wedding a few years ago, once I saw the pictures I knew there and then thats who I wanted for ours when ever that day would be.

Fast forward a year, and we met Martin and Debbie at the Wedding Show at Venue Cymru, Llandudno. Meeting them for the first time and seeing their passion for what they do only cemented our feelings that we wanted them and nobody else! Before confirming the date with our venue, we HAD to make sure Martin was available… Luckily he was.

When we had to move our wedding date due to COVID we feared the worst as to whether they could accomodate our new date, but they did this with no hassle at all.

On our wedding day at Bron Eifion, Criccieth, they captured everything perfectly. We had told them in our pre wedding meeting that we wanted 'Natural' photos rather than too many 'Posed', they took everything in and we were certainly not disappointed. These two are like a dream team, they bounce off each other, they mingle with the guests and they are just genuinely nice and down to earth people - AND so so talented!!

Debbie - from getting me drinks of lemonade when I fell ill on the morning of the wedding (disaster!) to helping me close my dress - thank you so much. I had 5 Bridesmaids on the day, but it felt as if I had 6!
Our photos were ready in around 2 weeks, we got all the family around to watch them together. They were everything we had hoped for and so much more. "I simply have no words to put down that would do any justice to how I feel about this couple. All the compliments in the world, and in every language, could not come close to how impressed, blown away and in awe of them we are.

I am, and all my family, are absolutely blown away by the photos they took, how they managed to capture everyone so perfectly, I have no idea.

We first met Martin and Debbie at our close friends wedding and instantly fell in love with them (this is before we saw their work!) and knew they were the photographers for us! We didn’t book our venue until we knew if they were free on that date.

Their fun double act made taking pictures so much fun (if you’re anything like us- we feel awkward taking pictures but Martin and Debbie made us feel so calm and actually made us feel like royalty!!) they were so helpful during the day and felt like old friends who were attending the wedding as guests with a fancy camera we couldn’t be more grateful for their help and guidance throughout the day! "From the moment we had seen Martin’s work at the Portmeirion wedding fayre we knew he was the photographer for us!
Despite the pandemic and unable to meet in person Martin and Debbie phoned us to discuss our booking. Instantly Debbie and Martin made us feel so much excitement for our wedding day and painted an image of our magical day ahead.

Wow! What can we say about Martin and Debbie? From the very beginning we knew we had made the right choice. A great meeting in advance to discuss how it would go with ideas back and forth. Then on the day everything went amazingly well, despite the curve-ball of an unwell bride who suffers from Crohn's Disease which can and does flare at the worst times. Martin and Debbie helped to make our day so special by being who they are. Kind attentive, helpful, funny and upbeat. "Before even getting engaged I knew I wanted Martin and Debbie to photograph my wedding. I had come across their work on facebook and was blown away by the artistry of their photos. A couple of weeks after getting engaged we were lucky to meet then at a wedding fayre and talking to them confirmed that we wanted them so we booked then there and then. Luckily they were available on our chosen date but even if they weren’t it is worth changing your date to have them. We met up with then again a couple of weeks before the wedding to discuss what kind of photos we wanted and so on. Martin and Debbie were so professional and talked us through the whole day and which photos would be taken when. Debbie even made lists of which members of family we wanted for each of the family photos ready for the day. Thank god she did this or we might have forgotten to take photos with some family members in all the hustle and bustle of the day! On the day martin and debbie were incredible from beigining to end. From the moment they got to my house they instantly made everyone feel comfortable and got to work straight away taking some lovely shots of the flowers and accessories. They helped us get organised and debbie even helped to close my dress!. They were very efficient and managed to take some beautiful portraits and helped us to get ready early. During the ceremony itself martin and debbie blended in they got some lovely shots without being noticable. After the ceremony we went to take our ‘hero shots’ by the Menai Bridge. Martin put so much effort into getting the perfect photos - even putting his waterproofs on and lying in the wet grass! They both went above and beyond and the photographs are simply amazing - even better than I expected! (And my expectations were high!) They guided us through the shots brilliantly. We are not used to being in front of a camera but they showed us all the poses and were so patient with us. They made us both feel so comfortable but also made us feel so special - like we were the most important people in the world at that moment, I’ll never forget that feeling. At the receptions they made taking the family photos easy and fun. Debbie gathered everyone together whilst Martin was snapping away. All our family and friends loved them and have all commented on how lovely they were and that they felt like part of the family. One specific photo we had requested was a peaky blinders style cigar photo of the groom and groomsmen and the results are just incredible. Everyone we have shown it to were blown away. The photos arrived a week and a half after the wedding which I think is just amazing when considering the time and effort that has gone into editing each of the 400+ photos to such a high quality. One thing I am also very impressed with is the variation in the editing - they have provided a lovely balance of more natural photos, black and white photos and other filtered photos. Since receiving the photos I have looked at the photos at least once every day and I fall more and more in love with them everyday. They captured the day so beautifully and have given us memories that will last a lifetime and more. I honestly want to print all of the photos and display them! When you book Martin and Debbie you don’t just get a wedding photographer. You get two of the best photographers in the business with a keen eye for what will look good. You also get a wedding co-ordinator, dresser, organiser, button hole fixer and friends for life. Where do I start? The first time I met Martin and Debbie was at my sister's wedding. They were fantastic. So when I plucked up the courage to ask the question I knew straight away who I wanted as the photographer. The first wedding fair of the year. We went and had a chat with Martin and Debbie and got a list of their available dates for July 2021. We then worked around that. A few weeks before the wedding we met up so they could get to know us better and to have an insight to what kind of wedding we were going to have ( I think that is a lovely touch). Then came the big day. All I can say was they were fantastic again. Apart from Martin having the camera in his hand you wouldn't think we had a photographer because it just felt like they were apart of our guests having fun on our day, and of course taking all the amazing photos. When we received all the pictures we were amazed. All we had visualised before the wedding were there on our screen but just better, because Martin and Debbie had put there touch on them. The communication was fantastic during the pandemic and we were delighted not to have to change our date even with a few resection still in place. "From the moment we met Martin and Debbie, at the Bodnant Gardens wedding fair, we knew that they were who we wanted to photograph our special day. Their sample photos and canvas prints were spectacularly beautiful - the hero shots, informal group pictures and portraits all seemed to capture the happiness and beauty of the weddings they photographed. We had our 3 year old son in-tow with us at the wedding fair and they engaged with him in a wonderful way that meant we knew they'd contribute to a relaxed and happy day.

Our wedding was somewhat unorthodox - only 9 of us at the front of a large old Church, on a cold, windy and very wet December day. We barely noticed them popping up and down around us during the service and they managed to capture so many happy, funny and romantic moments.

We had hoped to have our hero shots taken in Chester just before our celebratory meal but since the weather was foul we had most of them taken inside the church. With Debbie lugging around a huge lighting rig, Martin worked his magic and they have produced photos of such beauty we would never have thought possible beforehand. They used the architecture of the church to such great effect - who needs the landmarks of Chester when you have such a skillful photographer.

Then on to our celebratory meal at Edgar House in Chester where Martin and Debbie took us out into the rain. We went down the walls outside the hotel, next to the river and used the weather as part of a series of amazing photos using their lighting skills to the utmost. They then took a series of exquisite portraits and small group photos at Edgar House.

As part of our way of thanking Martin and Debbie we had invited them to enjoy the same 5 course meal we were having. Despite being ‘off duty', when the sun finally popped out between some clouds just before sunset, they insisted on whisking us back out into the garden to take a few extra shots of breathtaking beauty - “You can’t waste light like that!” they said.

We can’t say how much we appreciate their part in making a special day even more wonderful and giving us memories that we will treasure forever. We feel that we have made good friends but they have left us with a major headache. Where on earth are we going to put the 23 giant canvas prints we simply MUST print from the works of art they created!

Where do we begin? We could shout from the rooftops about how amazing Martin and Debbie are. We booked them two years before our wedding without having met them and simply because we were blown away by their work. Where to even start with how amazing Martin and Debbie are? As soon as we saw some of their images we were mesmerised, then we met Debbie and realised we couldn't ever have anyone else. Not only are the images high quality but so is their level of service. On the day they arrived at the mad house that was filled with the bridal party and extra kids, but didn't even bat an eye. They slotted straight in and kept everyone feeling relaxed and on schedule, even helping me to get into my dress and finding the kid's clothes. Then only 2 weeks later, as we got back from our honeymoon, the images arrived. "I first saw Martin and Debbie's work on Facebook about 3 years ago and I knew that if and when I was to get married that they are the photographers I wanted, unfortunately at the time I wasn't engaged and it didn't look as though I was ever going to get married as I had been with Aaron for 5 years and he wasn't even thinking about marriage. We saw one of Martin’s photographs in a wedding venue brochure and were immediately attracted to his artistic style. We emailed an enquiry and got a very friendly reply from Debbie. As we chatted back and forth about ideas and possibilities, our confidence in Martin and Debbie grew and we knew we could relax and enjoy the experience on our wedding day.
We went for a coffee and a chat, a couple of weeks before the wedding and it honestly felt like coffee with friends. They both have a gift for making you feel relaxed and at ease and this really made a difference on the day.
Photographers have to be a bit intrusive in order to get the shots their clients want but it was incredible how unobtrusive Martin and Debbie managed to be during the wedding and reception.
Several of our guests told us how lucky we were to have friends who could do the photos for us, rather than having to pay professionals. Imagine their surprise when we told them they were professionals.
The two of them work extremely well as a team. They each have their own role and their peaceful way of working together made a big contribution to the atmosphere of our wedding.
Martin brings his love of classical painting to his work and has a brilliant sense of composition and lighting. Debbie has an incredible eye for detail, whether that is arranging the train of the bride’s dress, getting luggage from the departure hotel to the reception venue or even carrying needle and thread, in case someone loses a button.

"There simply are no words to explain how we feel about our wedding photo's. We knew at the very beginning of our wedding planning we wanted Martin to take our photo's after reviewing his work at a wedding fare. This is the best decision we've ever made.

We had a meeting with Martin and his lovely wife Debbie (the Camera Monkey) prior to the wedding, this instantly put our minds at ease. They talked us through the day from beginning to end and put a short itinerary together.

On the big day, before we said our vows we were extremely nervous, Debbie's cheerful energy really helped calm us down.

Debbie is a woman on a mission as soon as she arrives. Straight away she took charge and ensured that everyone was working to a schedule, she gave tasks to the groomsmen so that the right people were in the right photos, helped to dress me and gave us words of encouragement throughout the entire day! "There were two things that we wanted confirmed with our wedding, Martin and the venue. Sam had seen Martin and Debby's work from a previous wedding six plus years ago and knew we wanted them to photograph our big day. They were booked two years in advance to ensure he and the venue were both avaliable. Your big day goes in a blink of an eye and you want a fantastic photographer to capture all of the moments possible.

On our day they made both of us feel at ease, neither of us enjoy being infornt of a camera. Infact they felt part of our day, our guests loved their ambiance and how they were doing little things in the background.

Sam had a dress issue in the morning and Debby was quick to come and assist sorting the problem out. Infact Debby was there to assist with anything and organise people where they needed to go very efficiently and calmly.

From start to finish Martin and Debby have been easy to work with, listen to your requests and assist with anything you might have forgotten. "Booking our photographers, Martin and Debbie, was THE easiest decision of the whole wedding planning process; so much so, that we planned our date around their availability.

After our engagement shoot (which we would also highly recommend doing) we sat down with Martin and Debbie to run through the big day - the family shots, the “must have” shots and the styles we liked. They are such genuinely nice people who make you feel so relaxed and comfortable, and have such a passion for what they do.

Debbie organises the running of the day seamlessly, from calling the various family members (and there were a lot of them!) for their photo, to making sure the veil falls just the way it is supposed to (and everything else in between).

We have received over 400 beautiful images from our wedding day. Each one is different and unique – which is exactly why we choose them. Martin has such an eye for detail and has caught moments throughout the day we did not even realise he was there capturing. Our family shots are stunning (and thanks to Martin’s “mystery owl impressions”, has even captured our youngest bridal party member of 18 months smiling at the camera!).

How we will choose the photos for our wedding album, we do not know! We just love them all and are so happy our big day has been captured so perfectly.

"You look through some photography work of possible contenders to photograph your wedding and nothing really jumps out at you but Martins work just screamed ‘ quality and attention to detail ‘so we booked and we were not disappointed ! We’ve never met such lovely and professional people that really made us feel at ease throughout the whole day.. They were like friends to us and it made the whole day so enjoyable.
Martin and Debbie were snapping away on the background capturing the most natural shots which was really important for us when picking a photographer.
The weather was dull on our wedding day and had been raining that morning but that didn’t put them off … off we went making the most of the beautiful surroundings of our venue, Martin was on the floor on the soaking wet grass and Debbie was his glamourous assistant capturing the perfect light !
